We Are Here to Help
We understand that a visit to the dentist can be a nerve-wracking experience, particularly if you’ve had a bad experience in the past. This can lead to developing a dental phobia such as trypanophobia (fear any medical procedure that involves injections or hypodermic needles). When such an experience festers, it often results in neglected teeth as well as sub-par oral hygiene and dental health.
We specialise in managing the needs of anxious patients, enabling us to break your treatment up into short appointments to help you feel confident in the chair again. The comfort you experience during your treatment is equally as important to us as the effectiveness of the treatment. Our caring staff will make your visits as relaxing as possible; they aim provide pain-free treatment to all our patients, as well as sleep dentistry* (IV sedation) for those who need a little extra assistance in overcoming their anxiety.
*Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risk. Before proceedings, you should seek a second opinion from an approximately qualified health practitioner.
Pain-free and Pleasant Dentistry
Striving to provide pain-free dental treatment that helps our patients achieve the ideal level of oral hygiene and dental care is an objective we hold dear. It’s evident in the extensive experience we have amassed and the continuously improving quality of our service. Our dentists and dental anaesthesiologists are trained in a variety of treatments to make your visit one you recall fondly.
Often associated with pain, we are committed to ending the stigma and changing the outlook on dentistry, giving those with a lower pain threshold some much needed peace-of-mind. Whether it’s a filling, extraction, or root canal, it doesn’t have to be a painful procedure.
Expert Sedation Dentistry
As well as striving to provide painless, gentle injections, we also offer sleep dentistry (IV sedation). This allows you to have dental procedures pain-free under the influence of a sedative drug. It’s safer than a general anaesthetic and is carried out from the comfort of a dental chair, allowing you to rest in a peaceful sleep for the duration of the procedure. We offer all treatments under sedation*, no matter how big or small. To discuss the various options available to you, contact our team and we’ll be happy to help you make a choice that best suits you.

General Anaesthetic VS Sedation Dentistry
We’ve established that sedation is safer than a general anaesthetic but why? This is because a general anaesthetic will leave you unconscious, whereas IV sedation will render you into a sleep-like state in which you are relaxed and able to respond to the instructions of the dentist but will have very little recollection of the procedure.
